Preparation of cannabis orange fritters
First put the 125 ml of water in a saucepan, with a pinch of salt, two spoonfuls of sunflower oil and a spoonful of our Cream Mandarine Auto® cannabic oil and bring it to a boil.
While we wait for the water to boil, we will mix the 125 gr of flour and the orange zest.
Once the water is boiling, we will remove the pan from the fire, and here comes the trick. While the water is still hot, we will pour all the flour with the orange zest and stir continuously until we get a dough without lumps. Let the dough cool down.
Once the dough is completely cold, we’ll add the eggs one by one. Before adding the eggs, we recommend that you open them up on a plate and check that they are in good condition.
Add the first egg and mix until completely incorporated. Then we will do the same with the second egg.
Now we have our cannabic fritter dough ready. We have to let it rest for about half an hour.
Heat plenty of oil in a frying pan and use 1 or 2 spoons to form and deposit balls of the cannabis orange fritter batter (after it has been allowed to stand) in the oil. Turn the fritters frequently until they are golden.
Note: It is important that the oil is not too hot, otherwise the fritters will turn crispy on the outside but remain undercooked inside.
Remove the golden fritters from the oil and place them on kitchen roll to absorb any excess oil.
Mix the sugar and ground cinnamon in a shallow bowl, then coat your delicious cannabis orange fritters with the mixture.
These orange fritters are perfect for dipping in our cannabis hot chocolate.
