Company History

Sweet Seeds® was born in 2005 with the aim of developing, preserving, and sharing top-quality cannabis genetics that could otherwise have been lost forever. Years before the seed bank was founded, our main passion was collecting and preserving, in our mother plant bank, the best cannabis genetics that crossed our path, bringing together, through selection and time, one of the finest collections of elite clones in Europe. The premise was always the same: to collect only the finest cannabis, extremely aromatic, exquisite, and well suited to the demands of indoor growing. But our project goes beyond collecting high-quality plants with a long cannabis history. Our true passion is sharing the seeds of these wonderful genetics with the whole world, for anyone to enjoy, at any time, in any corner of the planet. Today, we continue searching, selecting, and creating with the same purpose, so that every generation has open access to top-level cannabis seeds capable of satisfying the tastes of the most demanding collectors. Exotic, nuanced flavors, vibrant and striking colors, dense flowers covered in abundant resin, and easy-to-grow plants with great vigor are the result of our lifelong love and dedication to cannabis.

The Team

Sweet Seeds® is made up of one big family, united by our passion for our work and our love for this wonderful plant. Every one of us matters, and each of us tries to bring our love for cannabis into every task we carry out. Teams such as advertising, marketing, distribution and sales, the image and content department, administration, production, and management work side by side to offer you the best possible experience. The secret of our good work lies in the team, but we would also feel orphaned without Manolo Fariña and his thousand adventures through the underground world, founding partner, cannabis geneticist, researcher, connoisseur, and taster of the cannabis plant, or without Ramón, our CEO, an expert in selecting the most interesting and innovative genetics each year to expand our catalog and always preserve that collaborative spirit that holds the whole team together.

Since our beginnings, Sweet Seeds® has stood out as one of the pioneering Spanish seed banks that, thanks to the quality of our genetics and our constant pursuit of cannabis excellence, has become a global benchmark among cannabis seed banks. Thousands of positive experiences and reviews fill the internet and social media, speaking highly of our work. And that gives us the strength to keep moving forward, in a process of constant progress and development where the final destination is the journey itself, accompanying the cannabis plant in its evolution to satisfy the most demanding cannabis-loving collector.

There is no room for everything in our extensive bank of elite clones. Selection is extremely strict and forms the basis of every plant breeding program. Only cannabis strains that meet all the selection requirements of our team of breeders, and that have proven themselves worthy of such an honor, make it into our collection. We can proudly say that every cultivar Sweet Seeds® creates defines, with great clarity and strength, our idea of what an excellent cannabis plant should be. We have been doing this since 2005, with strains as highly awarded by the cannabis scene as our famous Cream Caramel® (SWS04), the strain with the most cannabis cups won in Spain. And thanks to you, we will continue to do so.

Track Record and Credentials

Today, Sweet Seeds® is a recognized and respected brand in the global cannabis seed market. We were pioneers in creating some of the first feminized strains, as well as some of the first autoflowering strains, which have brought so much joy to our customers and for which we are well known. As our customers say, “there are no autos like Sweet Seeds® autos,” and anyone who has tried them knows it. Over the years, we have constantly improved this type of autoflowering strain generation after generation, and today these strains are our best ambassadors for newer collectors.

With the launch of F1 Fast Version®, ultra-fast-flowering photoperiod-dependent strains developed and marketed for the first time by our seed bank, we marked a turning point in cannabis innovation. The same is true of our family of cannabis strains with beautiful and lush purple and red colors, known as The Red Family.

Today, our seed bank remains focused on preserving the identity of European cannabis strains, while opening an increasingly broad space for strains from the USA. This is how USA Strains entered our catalog: “Super Strong” and highly aromatic strains, with beasts such as Gorilla Girl® (SWS74) and Monster Maker® (SWS117).

Sweet Seeds® has collaborated on projects to develop new strains with other seed banks and shops in the sector, launching unique cultivars in Limited Editions with a more exclusive character, created for collectors who seek their cannabis holy grail in the diversity of fleeting, exclusive releases.
