How to prepare cannabis coconut oil

Coconut oil has become an essential ingredient for lovers of natural foods. This is quite strange considering it contains a lot of saturated fats.

Here at Sweet Seeds® we have developed this magnificent cannabis coconut oil recipe for you to use in an endless number of dishes and other purposes.

Ingredients for cannabis coconut oil:

  • 250 ml of water
  • 10 g of finely ground, dried marijuana buds
  • 50 g of organic coconut oil

Coconut oil preparation:

The first step is to place the marijuana buds in an oven preheated to 100–115 °C for approximately 20 minutes.

After drying, take the buds out of the oven and leave them to cool.

Melt the coconut oil in a saucepan and when completely liquid add the water and stir well.

Next add the 10 grams of finely ground buds and continue stirring.

Increase the temperature to 130°C for about 1 hour. Don’t forget to stir regularly.

After an hour at this temperature, reduce the heat to around 100–115 °C and leave it cooking for another 2 hours.

Use a sieve to filter the mixture, making sure that all the organic material (remnants of twigs and leaves) is completely separated.

Transfer the cannabis coconut oil to a container and place it in the refrigerator for about 12 hours.

Finally, after fully cooling in the refrigerator, pour off the liquid that has accumulated on top of the cannabis coconut oil.

All done! You can now use your homemade marijuana coconut oil whenever and however you want to.
